Each model is available with 16C654 UARTs with a 64 byte FIFO, delivering optimum throughput up to 460.8 Kbps. And every signal is safeguarded by built-in surge protection, which ensures that electrical interference, power surges or brown-outs don't interfere with the system operation. All models are remarkably easy to install. No dip-switches or jumpers to set - and no hassles! All models are Microsoft Windows95/98/Me, Windows XP and Windows 2000 Plug-and-Play compatible. In non plug-and-play environments, the ClassicBoard is software configurable using Digi's exclusive software configuration utility.
